Medical Intuitive

Overview

Medical Intuitive

Susan is an intuitive depth psychotherapist and as a medical intuitive utilizes her intuition and “in-sight” to seek the core or root cause of a physical symptom, emotional issue, or other influence that seemingly disturbs a person. Susan has always scanned a person with her eyes closed so as not to be influenced by the client or obtain any preconceived ideas about the individual that she is viewing.

It is not the external world that thwarts us, but the internal world reaction and perception that has not been consulted, and therefore blocks the path to the unity of consciousness.

NOTE: Susan does not practice medicine and does not seek to replace any client’s clinician, nor does Susan comment on another practitioner’s treatment and recommendations.

Process Psychobiology (process work)

Original Process work was founded by Jungian analyst, Arnold Mindell who noticed and discovered that the body was always dreaming. He researched the meaningful relationship of dreams and body symptoms as the inner world activity of the unconscious.

Susan’s approach is to focus more on your own individual process as it relates to psychobiology (life of the psyche) as a creative and intuitive possibility to finding the hidden meaning or idea that is held in your own body symptom or in your own inner world disturbance.

Studio Groups

A studio group is a small ongoing “Self” study group that consists of about eight people. Each member explores one’s own dream material, issues, and symptoms alone and with the group. It is “inner world” work that includes your own intuitive possibilities.

A Jungian and intuitive process oriented approach and exploration is employed by the group to this most important work; the study of your self within your own personal inner world. This is an opportunity to explore the breadth and depth of your own being from the inside to the outside within a safe group structure.

Mobilize and shift your own focus and attention beyond ordinary linear thinking. The most natural resource is yourself; the tools are awareness and consciousness as expressed through the human energy system. The meaningful invisible world activity of dreams, waking dreams, the influences of internal/external atmospheres, moods, disturbances, body symptoms are all incorporated, integrated and utilized by the individual and the group.

Medical Family Therapy

Medical Family Therapy includes helping client’s to adjust, resolve and manage care-taker issues, chronic pain, health concerns, and illness or a disability as it has an effect on you or the entire family unit. Family members need to be able to communicate accurately through their own emotional process with each other by safely expressing their fears and anger. The “ill” person needs coping skills to adapt to being a patient and to the accompanying change in their own life style.

An Ecosystemic approach is used to address and support the social, cultural and psychological aspects as well as the family interaction patterns to help in adaptation to the new living situation and decision making processes which arise. Family members need to learn how to cope and react in a supportive way to the life style and personality changes that their loved one will experience.
